You are cordially invited the North Carolina State Chapter of the A. Philip Randolph Institute’s 36th Asa Philip Randolph Annual Awards Banquet on April 17, 2010 at the Holiday Inn (I-95), 1944 Cedar Creek Road Fayetteville, NC 28312. The event will be starting at 6:30 pm.
This event is our opportunity to spotlight outstanding contributions of community activists, labor leaders and elected officials who like Mr. Randolph have made strides towards sustaining freedom, social equality and worker’s rights. Human rights activist and supporters from across the state will come together to celebrate the legacy of A. Philip Randolph.
In the wake of one of the most non-presidential campaigns America has ever seen, The North Carolina A. Philip Randolph Institute, INC (NCAPRI) is poised to build upon its 2006 and 2008 civic engagement efforts. Proceeds from this event will support voter registration, voter education, get –out-the-vote (G.O.T.V) strategies and community service programs such as closing the health disparity in our communities. The North Carolina A. Philip Randolph Institute is a non-partisan, non-profit 501©(3) organization.
